Also known as Blatta · Peace-Laureate
Rt. Hon., Laureate, Ed-D, Arts
A storyteller from his school days, Moges went on to write historic, geographic, and public diary articles. His work on Alphabetic African Timeline brings together his interest in African history, culture, language, and literature.
To gather material for the A to Z collection, he corresponded with and interviewed career African diplomats and press councillors in Addis Ababa. Reading, overseas correspondence, discussion, and debate have continued to shape his approach to African studies.
His published biography records recognition for his peace activities by the Universal Peace Federation (UPF) and the Inter-religious and International Federation for World Peace (IIFWP), at Addis Ababa’s Congress Hall in October 2006.

Moges studied academic education courses, majoring in African history, and has devoted time to ethnography and the rewriting of African socio-cultural subjects. His research includes traditional beliefs, inspiring events, African heritage, correspondence, travel, and encounters with people across the diaspora.
His biography also describes professional customer-service experience: building productive relationships, resolving complex issues, and supporting readers. He brings a public-spirited outlook to writing and learning.
In his personal account, Moges describes his support for the Coalition for Unity and Democracy (CUD) during Ethiopia’s 2005 election and the threats and harassment that followed. He subsequently spent about a decade in Norway, from 3 July 2007 to 9 June 2017, studying Norwegian language and social science before leaving voluntarily.
The original biography describes the UPF and IIFWP recognition as an “Ambassadors for Peace” honour, connecting his work to peace, civil and democratic rights, and African studies.
